On March 6, 2015 at the Arnold Fitness Expo in Columbus Ohio, one of the largest fitness events in the country hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, our Founder David Lyons received a special bodybuilding award for his accomplishments as a bodybuilder with multiple sclerosis.
The “2015 Health Advocate Lifetime Achievement Award” was presented to David by Arnold himself, the greatest bodybuilder of all time; Arnold’s girlfriend Heather Milligan the founder and President of Elite OrthoSport Physical Therapy and board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist; and Michael Torchia, champion bodybuilder, who has created new ways of life for tens of thousands of individuals around the world and is the fitness advisor to such luminaries as, Kevin Spacey, Matt Damon, Al Pacino, Kim Cattrall and Keith Urban. Arnold heard of David’s battle against MS and his MSFC charity through Torchia who is a long time friend of David’s from New York and Heather who is working closely with Torchia. When the former 7 time Mr. Olympia found out what David is doing with MS and for others who suffer from this disease he decided to honor his accomplishments.
