Las Vegas 12 Week Challenge 2015
It is with a very sad heart that I am posting this but I just heard that my good friend, Skip Haas, has passed away unexpectedly.
For those who have been following my MS journey and MS Fitness Challenge, you know that Skip opened the doors of his gym in Las Vegas in 2015 to allow us to hold a 12 week challenge. It was one of the most successful events we held because of Skip’s support and huge heart. The flyer is posted and a picture of the MSers we helped. Skip is in the back in the white shirt.
Kendra Lyons and I became good friends with Skip from then on, and he even came to support me when I spoke at the Zappos Center in Vegas 2 years later. We never lost touch and exchanged so many posts and messages on Facebook.
Kendra and I loved Skip and this news is devastating. I am so saddened I can hardly type this post but I wanted everyone to know the world has lost one of the nicest, most compassionate and generous men on earth, but heaven has gained an angel.
R.I.P. buddy. We will meet again when we workout in heaven together.
